The day before the trip

Hi, this is Vincent and here I am getting ready for the 11 days Short Term Missions trip to Barquisimeto, Venezuela. There are a lot of preparations. I still need to finish packing, preparing my lessons and make sure that the Cantonese Mother's Day service is all setup and ready to go.
I also need to find my Spanish bible.

This is a picture of our team.

Dr Johnny Wan gave us a workshop on the meaning of short term missions. There are four attitudes

  1. Servant hood
  2. Suffering inconveniences
  3. Learning the culture
  4. Be diligent in serving

Will be thinking of yall and lifting you up in my prayers. Be strong and trust in the Lord in all your ways for His grace is sufficient for you. May you experience the power of His name daily on the STM. Keep us up- to-date on happenings so we can pray specifics.

Brothers and sisters,

Remember the May Fellowship Bible verses: John 15:12-14
"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater Love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command."

Mark 16:20
Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confimed his word by the signs that accompanied it."

May the love of God be with you all.

Well need to get up in another 4 hrs to catch the bus, so will talk to you when we arrive the our final destination.
