Monday

Today was a visitation day. Stanley, Kenny, Daniel and I went to visit Mr Sun who owns a small convenience store in a nicer neighborhood. His wife and his children are Christian and his daughter lives in Houston. Pastor did most the talking, but he was so busy because there were so many people buying stuff and he was also taking delivery of new inventory. So after we decided to come back another day. So please pray for this man

Coming back to our favorite restaurant to meet with the rest of the team, we stopped by a store owned by this shop owner next to the restaurant. He was quite friendly and we had a good conversation. We invited him to come to church, we gave him an VCD and we promised to come back to give him a Bible. After that we talked about his business and his relationship with the local police. He said that they take "protection money", but he did not mind. He said that he is good friend with him and he knows that they have not been paid for 3 years. He also said that teaches has not been paid for 18 months. So how do these people survive? Crime.

After lunch Leo taught a session on how to use computer. We helped them in basic stuff on how to use the computer. Time flied and then it was time for dinner.

After dinner we head back to church and Daniel taught a lesson on the Heart of Worship. I taught a lesson on AV. I also did the translation. After that we asked their worship band to perform to see if we can offer any help. The youth band played and they sounded very good. We gave them some suggestions. Then the adult group played and they were very good too. We gave them a few tips and suggestions. Overall, I think that their worship was very good. Here is a picture of their youth playing.
